Your responsibilities
As a security engineer at Assured, you'll help our clients develop and implement a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), supported by automated CI/CD pipelines and tools. You'll also:
- advise and support our clients' development teams on security matters and architectural choices.
- analyze and manage vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for patching and mitigation.
- act as a Security Champion within client development teams to foster a security-aware culture.
- participate in design and code reviews to ensure security and adherence to best practices.
- stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.
- provide training and conduct workshops.
Your profile
We believe you likely have a technical background, preferably as a developer, and experience working with application security and a secure software development lifecycle. You have a solid understanding of security architecture and principles. We also believe you have:
- the ability to communicate security concepts and recommendations to developers and other stakeholders.
- experience with using and integrating security tools in CI/CD environments.
A certification such as ISC2 CSSLP or equivalent is a plus.
